SUBSTANCE: the gas engine including a gas piston, tubular magazine and a breechblock carrier with a return spring is a single component positioned above the barrel, the firing device is positioned underneath, under the receiver, and the feed-operating arm and the shutoff device of the cartridges fed from the magazine are positioned in a detachable cover of the receiver having a window for magazine loading.
EFFECT: improved compactness, simplified and lightened weapon mechanisms.
