FIELD: measuring engineering.
SUBSTANCE: vortex flow meter comprises housing and body arranged in the flow along the diameter of the housing. The gauge composed of rigid rod-sensor and two parallel diaphragms is secured in the hole provided in the housing wall downstream of the body. The first diaphragm is directly connected with the sensor. The top section of the sensor is connected with the balancer secured to the second diaphragm. The piezoelectric member made of a flat plate abuts against the second diaphragm. The plate is provided with three electrodes. The base electrode is mounted on the bottom surface of the plate, and two other electrodes are mounted on the top surface of the plate. The leads of the electrodes are connected with the unit for processing the signal from the piezoelectric member.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of measurements.
