FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and can be used in vortex flowmeters to measure volume flow using Karman vortexes. Vortex flow meter comprises flow part and streamline body installed in flow part across diameter. Flowing body generates Karman vortexes creating pressure pulsations in flow part with frequency proportional to flow rate. Vortex converter is located behind the body of the streamline in the flow direction or in the streamline body and receives the vortex pressure pulsations. Vortex converter is fixed in the flow part by means of a pressure flange. Signal from the vortex converter is transmitted via a cable. Vortex converter 4 assembly comprises cylindrical housing 8 with cavity 9 and flange 6. In lower part of housing 8 there is base 10, to surface of which on inner side sensitive element 11 is installed, on outer side of base 10 there is wing 12 interacting with flow. Wing 12 is made in the form of flat plate in one with cylindrical housing 8. Sensing element 11 is pressed to base 10 with force 13 specified at welding of cylindrical housing 8 and sensitive element 11. Monolithic structure of vortex converter 4 is provided by weld seam 14 when welding cylindrical body 8 and body 15 of sensitive element 11. Cable 7 passes through the hole of sensitive element 11.
EFFECT: simplified design of converter of vortices and technology of its manufacturing at ensuring compliance with requirements for strength at action of working pressure and temperature.
