FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves determining acoustic meatus bone part skin immunocytogram type. To do it, total number of cells and cell composition percent proportions are determined in smears taken from acoustic meatus bone part epidermis surface. Favorable influence of the insert upon postoperative middle ear cavity state is predicted, if neutrophil content is not greater than 10% in epithelial immunocytogram type cases. Unfavorable influence with high probability of chronic otitis recurrence is predicted, if neutrophil content is greater than 50% in neutrophilic immunocytogram type cases.
EFFECT: high accuracy of prognosis.
