FIELD: engineering of devices for processing signals of sound frequency, possible use for transforming spectrum of input signal in accordance to given psycho-acoustic requirements.
SUBSTANCE: equalizer inputs meant for utilization in sound amplification systems, including reproduction and amplification of records, and also in systems for recording sound signals. Equalizer contains controllable timbre block, spectrum analyzer and control block. Principle for device operation includes comparing spectrum of processed signal to standard values, determining required shape of spectrum at output, generation of controlling effects and transferring aforementioned effects to controllable circuits of timbre block.
EFFECT: possible automatic frequency correction along whole width of spectrum of input signal in accordance to arbitrarily given requirements.
