FIELD: sound engineering; domestic stationary sound-reproducing centers.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method for tuning sound-reproducing channel includes generation of test signal, estimation of results of test signal passage through sound-reproducing channel, this being followed by variation of gain-frequency response shape according to estimate obtained; results of test signal passage through sound-reproducing channel are estimated in compliance with individual psycho-acoustic sensations of listener; test signal is essentially sequence of alternating signals varying with time and lying in different sections of audio-range frequencies.
EFFECT: ability of tuning sound-reproducing channel in compliance with psycho-acoustic sensations of listener.
