GRAIN HARVESTER STONE TRAP Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC A01D41/12 

FIELD: agricultural engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed stone trap of grain harvester contains thin-sheet front shield made integral with front stay of thresher housing. Middle flat part of surface of front shield is provided with hatch with rectangular hole and detachable cover made to outline of hatch hole. Rear shield of size smaller than sizes of hatch hole is attached from inner side of detachable cover. Detachable cover is made in form of rectangular member arranged in plane of front shield and is provided with intake chamber with hinged cover from outer side. Outer perimeter of rectangular member is made to suit form of hatch hole, and its inner perimeter, to suit form of receiving chamber. Housing of intake chamber has hinge joints from bottom to secured hinge cover, and from top, catches to hold hinged cover when intake chamber is closed.

EFFECT: facilitated removal of foreign objects from intake chamber of stone trap.
