FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: thresher has housing with side panels and front binder attached to panels and to drive deck beam. Front shield with stone catcher is mounted behind front binder. Incorporated inside housing are feeder beater and cylinder with concave, and screen transporting board is disposed under cylinder. Housing front binder and front shield define single thin sheet. Upper front, lower front and side angled parts of this surface are made to conform housing front binder in the form of rigid carcass, and upper rear, mid and lower parts of surface are made in the form of front shield. Hatch with enlarged rectangular hole in mid part of surface is provided with cover coplanar with hatch hole. Cover is contoured in conformance with hatch hole with minimum gap between them. Stone catcher is attached to inner side of cover, with cross size of stone catcher being less than size of hatch hole. Such construction prevents foreign matter from getting onto threshing units. EFFECT: increased efficiency by simplified access to concave and front part of screen transporting board and enhanced reliability in operation. 4 dwg
