FIELD: agricultural engineering; mechanization of milking process.
SUBSTANCE: proposed rotary milking unit has several milking stages arranged on rotary milking platform, and inlet and outlet passages. Stationary device for identification of animal is arranged after inlet passage, viewing in direction of rotation of slewing milking platform to provide correlation of animal with each milking stage. Animal furnished with identification device is placed on milking stage and animal and milking stage are identified for correlation. Identification data on animal and milking stage are transmitted to data processing system. Data related to identified animal are transmitted by data processing system into terminal of identified milking stage which provides simultaneous identification of animal and milking stage and correlation of animal and milking stage designed for animal.
EFFECT: improved reliability of identification of milking stage and animal.
