FIELD: materials handling facilities; metering devices.
SUBSTANCE: proposed metering device contains reservoir and metering head connected with reservoir. Reservoir and head include interacting locking device consisting of great number of basses placed on one of two parts to be connected, and great number of cavities found on other part and designed for receiving the bosses in which at least one of bosses can flexibly deform and at least one is rigid and non-deformable. Such metering device can be easily filled up and assembled. Bosses are made of thermoplastic polyester, for instance, polyethylene terephthalate. Invention relates also to method of filling, so metering device is delivered being filled up with medium to be dispensed.
EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities.
