FIELD: methods or devices for drawing-off gases with or without subsequent use of the gas for any purpose, namely methane production from coal beds.
SUBSTANCE: method involves creating depression zone in coal-and-methane field and producing desorbed methane from the zone through one or several wells arranged in depression zone center; creating negative pressure by means of suction exhauster lowered in well or by means of methane pipeline provided with throttle means at pipeline end.
EFFECT: reduced methane leaks in depression zone through rock covering coal bed and increased ecological safety of coal-and-methane field.
