FIELD: wind power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices converting energy of air flow into electric energy in which blades are used as driven member. Proposed wind converter contains blades mechanically connected with electric generator. Shaft of generator is mechanically connected with blades and housing of generator is mechanically connected with blades of opposite make as compared with blades mechanically coupled with generator shaft. Housing of generator is installed for rotation in wind converter.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of wind converter.
