FIELD: electrical machines; inductor generators.
SUBSTANCE: proposed inductor generator has front and rear end plates with radial holes, stator in the form of stack carrying inducing winding, rotor in the form of spider with axial magnetic circuits which is built in rectifier. Field coils are installed on end plates and have magnetic contacts with axial magnetic circuits. Hollow shaft of rotor is provided with radial holes. One end of shaft is plugged and other one communicates with inlet hole of cooling system. Novelty is that field coils are provided with additional ferromagnetic webs inserted between windings and spider. Radial slits are made in vicinity of point where ferromagnetic webs abut against field-coil magnetic circuit. Proposed design makes it possible to dispense with separate cooler due to imparting its functions to rotor spider teeth.
EFFECT: enhanced field current due to inducing additional exciting current through ferromagnetic webs to spider teeth.
