FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and covers design peculiarities of electrical machines, namely, synchronous inductor generators used, for example in automotive electrical hardware. The invention novelty consists in that the synchronous generator incorporating a front and rear covers with a bore, two stator cores with windings, an excitation source, a hollow-shaft rotor with a clawlike head and a rectifier, comprises additionally a ferromagnetic cylindrical bulkhead arranged between the said stators and furnished with a belt-type recess housing the excitation source. Note also that the clawlike heads represent two cores fitted on the shaft with their central parts right up one against the other. The proposed synchronous generator exploits efficiently the excitation winding mmf thanks to magnetic flux path shortening possible because of ruling out the cover end faces from the said path. Note also that the invention makes the magnetoconducting bush of no avail allows a lower power consumption.
EFFECT: higher operating and heat-transfer properties.
