FIELD: medicine, orthopedics, traumatology.
SUBSTANCE: for fixing short tubular wrist bones one should apply two needles into distal fragment in oblique-sagittal direction from the top downwards, introduce a rod-like fixing element into proximal fragment from the top downwards. Needles and fixing element are fixed upon support plates. Both plates are rigidly connected with distraction rods. The innovation provides reliable fixation of wrist bones that excludes secondary shift, decreases the number of percutaneously applied fixing elements to decrease the chance for specific complications.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of fixation.
