DEVICE (VERSIONS) AND THE METHOD OF CLEANING THE SURFACE INSIDE THE TANK Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC B08B7/00 B08B9/08

Abstract RU 2280516 C1

FIELD: oil-producing industry; petrochemical industry; other industries; devices and methods of cleaning the surfaces inside the tanks.

SUBSTANCE: the group of inventions is pertaining to the detonation cleaning of the industrial equipment. The device for cleaning the surface inside the tank has: the wall separating the internal space of the tank from the outer space, which has the window; the elongated pipe having the first end located above the stream direction and the second end located below the stream direction and mounted with the capability to direct the shock wave from the second end into the internal space of the tank; the source of the fuel and an oxidizing agent coupled to the pipe with the capability of feeding of the fuel and the oxidizing agent init; the initiation means. The pipe consists of the first section having the first characteristic sectional area, and the second section arranged below the stream direction from the first section and having the second characteristic sectional area exceeding the first characteristic sectional area. The initiation means is mounted with a possibility to initiate the high-speed incineration of the fuel and the oxidizing agent in the first section of the pipe, and the first and the second sections of the pipe are arranged with the capability to provide transition the "high-speed incineration - detonation" from the high-speed incineration to the formation of the detonation wave. In another version the device is supplied with the elongated pipe having the first end located above the stream direction, and the second end located below the stream direction and mounted with the capability to provide direction of the shock wave from the second end of the pipe into the internal space of the tank, and using the means of injection of the first and second mixtures of the fuel and the oxidizing agent into the pipe and initiation of the high-speed incineration of the first mixture with the capability to provide transition to the "high-speed incineration - detonation" from the indicated high-speed incineration and detonation of the indicated second mixture with formation of the shock wave. The method of cleaning of the tank internal surface is realized by feeding of the first mixture of the fuel and the oxidizing agent into the first section of the pipe, feeding of the second mixture of the fuel and the oxidizing agent (both different from the first pipe mixture in the ratio of components shares or in the chemical composition) into the second section of the pipe, and then originate the reaction of the first mixture of the fuel and the oxidizing agent with causing the detonation of the second mixture of the fuel and the oxidizing agent and with formation of the shock wave interacting with the surface. The group of inventions ensures improvement of the quality of cleaning and expansion of the assortment of the cleaned equipment.

EFFECT: the group of inventions ensures improvement of the quality of cleaning and expansion of the assortment of the cleaned equipment.
