SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aviation, in particular to methods for rotating the lifting propellers of rotary-wing aircraft. The method for rotating the lifting propeller using at least one jet engine is that a mixture of gaseous fuel and an oxidizer is burned at the combustion site to produce a jet stream that creates thrust for the rotation of the lifting propeller. The combustion process is the process of detonation of a mixture of gaseous fuels and an oxidizer. In this case, the liquid fuel evaporates to a gaseous state before being transported to the combustion site, and the gaseous fuel is transported to the combustion site due to centrifugal forces generated by the rotating lifting propeller.
EFFECT: efficiency of the jet-driven rotor is improved by reducing energy consumption for preparing the mixture of fuel and oxidizer for combustion.
