FIELD: processes and equipment for working metal by cutting, manufacture of gear wheels.
SUBSTANCE: mechanism includes reference hobbing rack and indexing rack, toothed reference rim of article mandrel, hobbing carriage and spindle carriage. In order to enhance quality of gear cutting of cylindrical gear wheels, indexing rack is made movable and it is provided at lower side with driven pin that is arranged in through lengthwise groove of hobbing carriage in hobbing direction. Two stops are mounted on top part of spindle carriage. Difference between distance of mutual spacing of two stops and cross size of driven pin is determined according to relation given in description of invention.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of gear cutting.
