FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises rolling be rotary disk tool. Blank is arranged so that rim centre gets aligned with tool axial plane. To expand process performances by machining gears of one modulus with different number of teeth, rotary disk tool is imparted additional smooth motion relative to machined blank by fitting it on eccentric transition mandrel. Note here that machine spindle rotary motions are kinematically coordinated with eccentric transition mandrel and tool subject to claimed relationship.
EFFECT: expanded performances of cutting process.
