FIELD: on-board control complexes of flight vehicles, mainly, high-velocity homing jet projectiles.
SUBSTANCE: the method includes vertical or vertical-perspective sighting of reference points of the underlying surface by the homing head, the columns in its matrix receiver are positioned along the fixed longitudinal axis of the flight vehicle, and the lines - across the given axis. The modulus and the sign of variation of the bank angle are determined according to the direction of the direct or reverse displacement (successive according to the numbers of the columns) of the reference point image fixed by the receiver at the consecutive time moments of the clock interval. The data on the viewing angle of the matrix receiver and the quantity of its columns are used in this case. The angular velocity and the acceleration in roll of the flight vehicle or a part of it may be determined from this information and the length of the clock interval.
EFFECT: simplified composition of the on-board control complex from which the specialized equipment units may be excluded, which makes it possible to improve the "efficiency-cost" index for the flight vehicles under consideration.
