FIELD: alkyd resin production useful in manufacturing of paint-vehicle coats with water-, oil- and gasoline-repelling properties.
SUBSTANCE: claimed resins are obtained by reaction of polyhydric alcohol (glycerol, pentaerythritol or mixture thereof in mass ratio of 1:1) with modifier (perfluoropolyester acid fluorides with molecular weight of 1200-1400) and phthalic anhydride in component mass ratio of 1:(0.2-0.4):1, respectively. Reaction mixture of polyhydric alcohol and modifier is agitated for 30-40 min at 100-110°C, phthalic anhydride is introduced and process is continued for 50-60 min at 170-180°C. Clamed method makes it possible to produce alkyd resins having acid number of 15-20 mg KOH/g.
EFFECT: coats with water-, oil- and gasoline-repelling properties.
