METHOD OF LIQUEFACTION OF BROWN COAL Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC C10G1/06 

FIELD: processing brown coal by thermal liquefaction in organic solvents.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in mechanoactivation of brown coal under pressure in cavitation apparatus together with water-and-coal suspension at coal-to-water ratio equal to 30-60 mass-% at temperature of 15-70°C, rotor speed of 3000-12000 per minute continued for 5-50 cycles. Water-and-coal suspension is filtered, dried to residual content of water of 2-5 mass-% and is liquefied in organic solvent at heating.

EFFECT: increased degree of conversion of brown coal.
