FIELD: equipment for removing undesirable matter from the permanent way of railways.

SUBSTANCE: railway cleaning machine comprises vacuum vessel for debris gathering and pick-up device. The vacuum vessel and pick-up device are connected with each other and mounted on chassis. The pick-up device comprises body, as well as the first blowing-off nozzle and suction nozzle adapted for railway track cleaning. The nozzles are communicated with pressure and vacuum blowing plants by air channels. The pick-up device comprises the second blowing-off nozzle connected with the second pressure blowing plant by air channel. The first and the second blowing-off nozzles are arranged transversely to the track, extends for the full track width and face each other. Suction nozzle is located between the first and the second blowing-off nozzles in pick-up device center. Pick-up device body is provided with side collapsible (movable) sheets, which reach rail head by lower edges thereof in working positions.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of pick-up device operation, when surface to be cleaned is spaced relatively large distance from working equipment and widened field of cleansing vehicle application.
