FIELD: agricultural engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technological processes of preparation of fodders for animals, particularly, to devices for ultraviolet treatment of mixed food and components of mixed food. Proposed plant contains charging pit, vertical bucket elevator, hopper, auger conveyor, drum with frame and support rollers, irradiators with ultraviolet radiation sources, discharge chute, mixer, pump and food line. Plant is furnished additionally with base consisting of movable and fixed parts. Drum is provided with covers and is installed for tilting along vertical axis through angle of 0 - 16° by means of support rollers. Said rollers are arranged on shaft attached by means of supports to movable part of base which is provided with adjusting screw. Irradiator with ultraviolet radiation source is arranged inside drum and installed for movement horizontally in two directions by means of support axle. Said axle is made in form of endless screw one end of which thrust against cover of drum and the other is coupled with electric motor of its drive. Irradiator is furnished with protection glass in frame provided with brush. Said brush is installed for displacement owing to movable stops secured at its two sides which engage with walls of drum. Irradiator is attached by means of telescopic rods to guide ring fitted on support axle.

EFFECT: improved efficiency of irradiation of mixed food.
