SUBSTANCE: apparatus has rotor formed as drum with radial slots, mercury-quartz burners mounted along inner side wall of housing in the vicinity of working zone, protective grid put onto burners, corona electrodes mounted on end edge of radial walls. Drum and radial walls are made from radiation permeable material. Mercury-quartz burners are connected to high-frequency generator. Housing of apparatus is screened.
