FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus can be used for osteosynthesis and for treating breaks and deformations of long tubular bones. Shift of fragment of bone is eliminated during treatment at an angle, along width as well as rotation and longitudinal shifts in external fixation due to movement of external supports, made in form of dismountable tie screws which have screw connection. The latter allows tie screw to move along their longitudinal axes to provide turn around axes of hinges crossing in perpendicular to axes of tie screws. External fixation mechanism has external supports made in form of dismountable tie screws in point of dismount of which screws the screw connection is mounted. Screw connection is made in form of two braces. One ends of the connection are connected by hinges onto tie screws. The other ends are connected together by screw which has axis coinciding with axis of tie screws. Two more lateral screws are fixed in brace and tie screws. Brace and lateral screws are connected with tie screws by ball-and-socket joint.
EFFECT: improved efficiency.
