FIELD: decontamination of portable and waste water; water supply systems and sewage plants; chlorination of liquids; production of chlorine and caustic soda; chemical, medical and other industries.
SUBSTANCE: proposed water decontamination station includes electrolyzer, sodium chloride dissolving and proportioning unit, ejector and connecting lines. Mounted between electrolyzer and ejector is circulating loop including alkaline storage reservoir, heat exchanger and pump. Dissolving and proportioning unit consists of adjusting tank, salt tank, proportioning pump, rotameter and storage reservoir. Electrolyzer consists of several rectangular bipolar elements provided with frame, anode and cathode chambers separated by partition; frame of electrode element is formed by steel strips welded in corners; their end faces are protected on anode side with titanium; partition is made from bimetallic sheet: steel and titanium. Besides that, cathode element is made from perforated or punched carbon steel sheet welded to current-carrying edges of cathode chamber; anode element is made from perforated or punched titanium sheet coated with ruthenium and titanium and welded to current-carrying edges of anode chamber. Mounted in between electrode elements is ion-exchange sulfo-cationite membrane.
EFFECT: increased bactericide activity of produced disinfectants; high explosion proofness of process.
