FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of producing a disinfectant based on sodium hypochlorite by electrolysis of underground mineralized and sea waters at the point of consumption, and can be used for disinfection of domestic, industrial waste water, as well as for disinfection treatment of premises, livestock complexes, in veterinary science and in processing agricultural products. Method of producing a disinfectant based on sodium hypochlorite involves direct electrolysis of natural mineralized chlorine-containing water with subsequent adjustment to the required pH level using an activating agent. As an activating agent regulating pH in range of 7-8, H3BO3 and/or CuSO4 are used at the following ratio of components of the activating agent per 100 ml of sodium hypochlorite solution with pH 9.3, g: when using H3BO3 – 0.7-3.0; when using CuSO4 – 0.3-0.5; with combined use of H3BO3 and CuSO4 (1:1) – 0.3-0.8.
EFFECT: method is simple and cost-effective; production of the disinfectant can be arranged directly at the point of consumption using a simple small-sized installation; obtained disinfectant has sufficient bactericidal and at the same time safe properties due to pH adjustment to the required level.
