FIELD: ecologically pure liquidation of solid-propellant rockets and subsequent use of the components of their construction in the national economy.
SUBSTANCE: the method is based on the use of the property of solid propellant of rockets for an essential reduction of their strength characteristics due to destruction of the adhesion bindings of the components at a profound cooling and subsequent heating. As a result of several cycles of cooling-heating the solid-propellant rocket engine acquires cracks. An additional mechanical action on the outer surface of the body of the solid-propellant rocket engine in the form of a shock-wave, shock-pneumatic or vibration loading completely destructs the charge into separate fragments of various dimensions.
EFFECT: enhanced productivity, ecological purity and simplicity of the design.
