FIELD: inspection of pollutions of articles.
SUBSTANCE: the device has a hollow body, radiation source, detector of radiation reflected from the article surface whose output is connected to a memory unit, light filters and a control panel. The device is also provided with an adapter ring and minimum with one additional radiation source. The body is made in the form of a sleeve with a tapered band on the outer surface, on which ports for the filters are made diametrically opposite each other. One of the body ends may be engageable with the surface of the article under inspection, and the other carries the adapter ring with a port for the light filter. The radiation detector is installed on the adapter ring, and the radiation sources are installed on the tapered surface of the body at an angle to each other, each opposite the port, they are synchronized with each other. Besides, the radiation detector is connected to a monitor, and the memory unit via the information readout unit is connected to the module for processing and production of data of measurement of the article surface pollution.
EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions and mass making it possible to use the device for operation in hindered areas with a restricted access to the working zone, expanded field of application due to pulsed operation and with any use of mercury lamps.
