FIELD: technical physics.

SUBSTANCE: essence of the invention consists in the fact that the device includes a lighting sphere, in which several groups of fluorescent LEDs are integrated, emitting in the narrow spectral ranges of ultraviolet, visible and infrared spectrum, a collective lens, a cuvette for placing a liquid light-transmitting medium, an optical analyzer in the form of a polarizing light filter, a varifocal lens, a video camera based on a black/white charge-coupled device (CCD) matrix, a processor that enters a video signal into a personal computer and controls the varifocal lens, video camera and LEDs power supply, a personal computer, software for analyzing the received data, as well as a database containing a library of reference samples.

EFFECT: increased reliability and simplification of the structure of the video spectrometer for express control of light-transmitting media.
