SECTION BENDING MILL UNIVERSAL STAND Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC B21D5/06 

FIELD: plastic working of metals, namely equipment for making bent sections.

SUBSTANCE: universal stand includes housing with upper and lower built-up shafts and detachable supporting strut. Lower shaft is stationary one and it is driven from shaft through transmission. Upper shaft is height-controlled one and it is driven from lower shaft through pinion transmission. Each shaft includes hollow spindle shaft for selecting kinematic joints with drive unit and detachable working shaft for mounting roll tools. Working shaft is coupled with spindle shaft at back side of stand and it is mounted in bearing assemblies of slides of detachable supporting strut without axial mounting. In order to mount roll tool in detachable working shaft, supporting shoulder and threaded joint of rolls at side of detachable supporting strut are provided.

EFFECT: simplified readjustment of stand, shortened time period for changing roll tool.
