FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rail vehicles, namely, to tractors for monorail tracks. Proposed monorail tractor consists of frame 2 on ends of which clamps 5, 24 with coupler gears 25 rounding rail 27 are rigidly secured. Frame carries support wheels 3 and drive wheel installed on pressure lever 16 opposite to support wheels relative to rail. T-shaped angular lever 12 engaging with locks on ends of short arms over seats of space is arranged in space of one of clamps. End of long arm of t-shaped lever is connected by hinged rod with bracket 17 of pressure lever. Middle hinge joint of T-shaped lever is connected by hinged rod with pressure lever. Monorail tractor is furnished with initial tightening device, drive and brake. Second clamp is connected by hinge joint with middle part of double-arm lever whose end is hinge-connected with end of pressure lever. Counterweight is installed on end of second arm of double-arm lever.
EFFECT: improved reliability of wheel-rail adhesion.
