FIELD: rail vehicles; monorail vehicle tractors.
SUBSTANCE: proposed traction device contains two drive wheels engaging with rail in opposite directions. First drive wheel is mounted on first lever arranged along rail, ends of lever being rigidly connected with clamps with coupling devices enclosing the rail. Second drive wheel is mounted on turnable lever hinge-connected by its end with first clamp. Differential reduction gear is installed on turnable lever and provided with carrier with planet pinions secured on shaft of its drive wheel, central and sun gears and T-shaped lever. Shorter arms of T-shaped lever pointed to different sides along rail interact through retainers with oval sockets of space on end of turnable lever from side of second clamp. Higher rods square to rail connects middle hinge joint of t-shaped lever with bracket of second clamp of first lever. Sun gear of reduction gear is made for turning relative to axle of reduction gear and is connected with perpendicular lever by hinged rod. Lever is secured on shaft installed on turnable lever parallel to axle of drive wheel of reduction gear on which lever perpendicular to rail is secured in plane of drive wheel of reduction gear. End of said level is connected with end of longer arm of T-shaped lever by hinged rod parallel to rail.
EFFECT: improved reliability of adhesion of drive wheels and rail.
