FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tractors for monorails. Proposed asymmetrical traction device contains four drive wheels engaging with rail 1. Traction device consists of four drive wheels engaging with rail two of which are mounted on first lever arranged, relative to rail, from side of angle levers, and two others are mounted on second lever made integral with yoke enclosing the rail. Proposed traction device is provided also with balancer installed on trailing vehicle, device for initial tightening and rollers for fixing traction device in power plane. Differential reduction gear is installed on first lever of drive wheels. Sun gear of said reduction gear is free to turn relative to geometrical axis of reduction gear and is provided with hinge joint by means of which it is connected with hinge rod tangential to circumference of sun gear. Second end of rod is connected with lever perpendicular to rail mounted on shaft of first lever of drive wheels and coupled, in its turn, by hinge tie-rod with end of longer arm of second angle lever. First lever of drive wheels is provided with bracket whose end is connected by hinged tie-rod parallel to rail with first yoke enclosing the rail.
EFFECT: improved wheel-to-rail adhesion.
