FIELD: land reclamation, oil and gas pipelines.

SUBSTANCE: proposed set contains pipe rotating drive, set for outer insulation provided with bath containing coating material, reel with roll reinforcing material, metering-and-rubbing device consisting of movable adjustable lip and adjustable gate. Adjustable lip is provided with rounded-off nose, and end of adjustable gate is arranged behind bend of nose. Rubbing apron enclosing pipe to be insulated is secured on bath bottom in direction of pipe rotation over 1/4-1/3 length of circumference. Insulating unit is installed on frame for reciprocating and adjusting in height, and reel with roll reinforcing material is installed after metering-and-rubbing device. Reel with roll reinforcing material is provided with adjustable brake, and frame, inspection stage for operator. To effect inner insulation of pipe, rod with metering-and-rubbing device is provided with adjustable hole for delivery of coating material, coating material spreader and rubbing apron.

EFFECT: improved quality of coating.
