FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: plant is used for applying bitumen-polymer coatings reinforced with fiber glass matting to external surface of steel pipes. Located under bath with isolating material is dosing-and-pulverizing device with regulated bottom and pulverizing strip. Nose of dosing-and-pulverising device is displaced from palnt symmetry vertical plane and touches external surface of isolated pipe laid on supporting rollers of car moved in axial direction. Winding of required number of reinforcing band layers from roll to pipe is performed simultaneously with application of isolating material to pipe.
