FIELD: medicine, gastroenterology.
SUBSTANCE: one should carry out videofibrogastroscopy at applying a vital dyestuff of methylene blue and endoscopic ultrasonography of gastric folds to detect their width, the ratio of minimal to maximal height of gastric fold against submucous layer, and, also, evaluate the sizes and the shape of gastric fields. At typical localization of gastric folds, the width of which in the body and antral department of stomach corresponds to 3-6 mm, along the greater curvature of stomach, in the arch and sinus - up to 10 mm, at the ratio of minimal to maximal height of gastric fold against submucous layer being approximately 1:2, at availability of gastric fields of correct oval form of 1-3 mm diameter one should detect the norm. At availability rough coiled mucosal folds and their atypical reconstruction, their width in the body and antral department of stomach being above 6 mm, along the greater curvature, in the arch and sinus - above 10 mm, at the ratio of minimal to maximal height of gastric fold against submucous layer being approximately 1:1.5, at availability of gastric fields of incorrect rounded form of 3-5 mm diameter one should diagnose a surface gastritis. At availability of thin, straightened folds, the width of which in the body and antral department of stomach ranges 3-6 mm, along the greater curvature, in the arch and sinus - up to 10 mm, at the ratio of minimal to maximal height of gastric fold against submucous layer being approximately 1:1 and availability of gastric fields of incorrect rounded or polygonal form at diameter being above 5 mm and with widened grooves one should diagnose atrophic gastritis. The innovation enables to increase information value of diagnostics in case of chronic gastritis.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of diagnostics.
