FIELD: medicine, gastroenterology.
SUBSTANCE: at detecting resistance to pharmacotherapy 1 mo after its onset one should carry out endoscopic ultrasonography and laser Doppler flowmetry for affected gastric section. In case of observed thickening in mucous layer, basal membrane, submucous layer against intact sections, thickness of chronic erosion being above 2 mm, widened vessels of submucous layer, decreased circulation in erosion area it is necessary to carry out endoscopic resection of chronic erosion-bearing mucous section. Next day after operation one should prescribe a 1-mo-long course of anti-secretory therapy. The innovation suggested enables to decrease the number of relapses of chronic gastric erosions.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of surgical therapy.
