FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: measures of microcirculation index are realised, and arithmetic average is calculated. Each measure is conducted during 1.5 to 2 minutes from normal mucous surface of antral stomach part or upper third part of oesophagus (MO) and from mucous over varicose vein of respective organ (M1). Microcirculation gradient (ΔM) is calculated by expression (MO - M1)/MO. If the microcirculation gradient is lower than 0.1, absence of bleeding recurrence risk is stated; if the microcirculation gradient is between 0.1 and 0.29, insignificant bleeding recurrence risk is stated; if the value is between 0.3 and 0.49, moderate bleeding recurrence risk is stated; and if the value is 0.5 and more, high bleeding recurrence risk is stated.
EFFECT: increase in prognostication accuracy of varicose veins bleeding recurrence of oesophagus and stomach, defining opportune therapeutic management, and avoidance of bleeding recurrence.
