FIELD: medical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device has screw and cylindrical fixing rod threaded at one end for being fixed in proximal bone fragment. The screw is long enough to pass through two cortical layers of diaphysis. The device also has tubular compression extender having rest ring and square head having hole arranged in perpendicular to axis for receiving the screw. The opposite rod end has metric thread for being placed in distal bone fragment. The extender has hole having metric thread for receiving the rod end having metric thread. Through holes are available in the rod and extender having head and rest ring for receiving navigation wire. The through hole in the rod has area suitable for hexahedral screwdriver. Thread for making fixation in proximal bone fragment is resting and self-tapping. It has internal diameter greater than the external one of the extender. It is not more than 1.5 times as large as the external diameter of metric thread on the rod. Extender and rod length is not less than half-length of the rod attached to the extender in the extreme screwed-together position.

EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; adjustable length; avoided cutting forces action.
