FIELD: medicine; traumatology; orthopedics.

SUBSTANCE: device can be used for performing osteosynthesis at fractures of proximal department of hip bone. Device has cylindrical fixing pin provided with cone-shaped tip and wood screw. End pin, provided with cone-shaped tip, is made with thread for fixing inside proximal fragment of bone. Wood screw has some length for passing through two cortical layers of diaphysis. Device is also provided with lock screw and with compression bushing extension. The latter is made with rectangular head and support ring. Perpendicular opening, provided with bed for lock screw with hidden head, and opening for wood screw are made in head. Diameter of opening for wood screw has diameter to correspond to diameter of wood screw for locking screw against motion. Compression bushing extension is fastened to pint by means of metric thread. Pin has one end provided with metric thread and with opening for needle. At the area where pin has to be fastened to bushing extension it has coaxial opening with metric thread for lock screw, which opening communicates with opening for needle. Pin is capable of fastening to screwdriver for being introduced into bone. Thread of pin for fastening in proximal department of bone is made self-cutting and resting and it has internal diameter being bigger than external diameter of bushing extension. Pitch of metric thread in opening of pin differs from pitch of metric thread at pin. Length of bushing extension is made to have at least half length of pin. Diameter of wood screw equals at least 1,2 diameter of lock screw. Device can be used for patients with different sizes of proximal department of hip bone to improve stability of compression and axial stability simultaneously as well as anti-migration properties in cases when instable fractures of proximal department of hip bone should be treated.
