FIELD: hydraulic structures, particularly river and marine flood control structures.

SUBSTANCE: structure comprises continuous row of hollow sectional blocks closely installed along shore line on prepared surface or driven in upper dam surface. The blocks are provided with protective barriers arranged on the blocks. The protective barriers have profiled side ends and are connected to cross-beams fastened to horizontal drive axle. The drive axle is installed in each sectional block and may rotate. Drum provided with vessels connected to drum ends and with balancing counterweight is connected to the drive axle. The vessels have orifices. Each sectional block comprises supply pipes installed in upper block part and drain pipe mounted in lower part of sectional block. The drain pipe has single-sided check valve. Supply pipes are connected to vessels through flexible sleeves. Sealing members are installed between protective barrier and sectional block body.

EFFECT: increased reliability and automatism.
