MODULE OF BANK PROTECTION CONSTRUCTION Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: water development projects, protection of banks of rivers and other water basins from floods. SUBSTANCE: module includes n chambers, is closed and made of soft, waterproof and water-resistant material of specified strength. Cross-section of shell of module has shape of triangle or hemisphere. Internal space of module is divided by horizontal partitions into chambers. Module can have n chambers (n-1, 2, 3, ..., m). Shell of module can be reinforced in cross-section by stay ropes. Modules are joined by linking bands with through pockets into which linking cable (stay ropes) enter, linking bands are closed by lateral aprons to ensure sealing. Longitudinal lower apron is meant for snug fitting to ground. Each chamber is provided with filing and drain valves, lower chamber of module is equipped with joints for attachment to ground. EFFECT: enhanced functional reliability, reduced manufacturing cost, possibility of timely erection of bank protection constructions. 3 dwg
