FIELD: cracking catalysts.
SUBSTANCE: invention provides steam hydrocarbon cracking catalyst including potassium phosphate as catalytic component, said catalyst either being supported catalyst, wherein potassium phosphate is deposited on catalyst support, or being calcined catalyst made from potassium phosphate and metal oxide powder. Catalyst preparation method and catalyzed olefin production process are also disclosed.
EFFECT: increased yield of olefins such as ethylene and propylene, reduced coke formation, and increased heat resistance of catalyst.
