FIELD: petrochemical processes. SUBSTANCE: lower olefins are prepared by pyrolysis of hydrocarbon feedstock in tubular reactors at reactor wall temperature 600 to 860 C in presence of catalytic charge with developed contact surface, which is prepared from ferrimagnetic alloy containing 15+/-1.0% chromium and 1.5+/-0.5% each of aluminum, molybdenum, and nickel. Feedstock and catalyst material, prior to be loaded into reaction zone, are subjected to integrated treatment by microwave fields with circular polarization and electronically programmed modulation. Such process allows gas formation to be obtained at the level of 70.7 wt % and leads to yield of olefins up to 54.9 wt %, including ethylene, propylene, butylenes, and divinyl up to 27.8, 15.3, 8.1, and 8.2 wt %, respectively. As feedstock, straight-run kerosene-gas oil fraction can be utilized. EFFECT: several times reduced pyrolysis cock formation owing to microwave irradiation. 7 ex
