SUBSTANCE: device comprises cylindrical foaming chamber provided with bottom and side and with ports for charging and discharging foam polystyrene, rotating mixer with blades, and branch pipes for supplying steam which are mounted in the bottom of the chamber. The device also has grid pad and two additional ports in the side of the chamber. One of the ports is used for cleaning the grid pad, and the other one is used for cleaning the bottom of the foaming chamber. The mixer is provided with interconnected central and distributing passages for supplying steam to the chamber space. The central passage is mounted at the axis of the mixer, and distributing passages are mounted in the blades provided with the injecting openings for discharging steam. One of the branch pipes for supplying steam mounted in the chamber bottom is connected with the central passage of the mixture. The other branch pipes are arranged on the side of the bottom section of the chamber. The branch pipes are mounted in the horizontal plane at an angle of 20-70° to the side of the chamber. The port for cleaning the grid pad is provided above the pad, and the port for cleaning the chamber bottom is interposed between the chamber bottom and grid pad.
