FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: granular foamed material is fed into a liquid medium at temperature which is lower than the melting point of said material with possibility of forming a settling dispersion mixture. The obtained mixture is mixed with a liquid medium at temperature higher than the melting point of the foaming material, with possibility of foaming of the granular material and then held for 3.0-150.0 s at temperature ranging from 80°C to 170°C and pressure not higher than 8 bars.
EFFECT: faster process, fewer and simpler apparatus, achieving stability of the foaming and impregnation process, high level of water saturation and uniform size of the pre-foamed dispersed material.
