FIELD: zeolites.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises: (i) contacting calcined borosilicate zeolite with acid to form at least partially boron-free zeolite and (ii) contacting at least partially boron-free zeolite with salt-containing aqueous solution including one or several salts selected from aluminum, gallium, and iron salts to produce silicate or borosilicate zeolite with crystalline lattice aluminum atoms, gallium atoms, iron atoms or combination thereof, the last stage being carried out at pH about 3.5 or below. Preferably, stage (i), stage (ii), or both are carried out at temperature from about ambient value to about 300°C, preferably at stirring/barrel grinding.
EFFECT: enabled preparation of structure with elevated catalytic activity.
