FIELD: power engineering, possible use in central heating systems, systems for providing hot water to buildings, structures and vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: cavitational-vortical heater has cylinder-shaped body, device for accelerating movement of liquid, braking device. On one end on the shaft of rotary movement source directly on liquid movement accelerator, centrifugal-vortical working wheel is positioned, dimensions and structure of which make it possible to produce given parameters of vortical flow (angular speed, liquid flow, pressure), on another end, braking device is positioned, made in form of ribs radially fastened to body, bottom is equipped with centrally incised input branch pipe and radially incised output branch pipe.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of utilization of power of rotary movement source directly for generation of vortical flow, prevented power losses on overcoming of resistances, increased efficiency of heater operation.
